Everyone has to have a plan, right? Right. Nonetheless, these schemes of work that are devised by each teacher at each level are not set in stone. They are a starting point for the learning journey for the year, they give a structure to the process and allow us to co-ordinate and collaborate. To say that we know exactly what a student needs to learn at the end of a year at the beginning would be suggesting we are clairvoyant!
